St. Robert is known as the
business hub of Pulaski County. The city is relatively young but it
has achieved more than most cities since its birth, living up to its
motto - "Grow With Us." Since being formed in 1951,
St. Robert
has expanded its borders and nearly tripled
in size in the last 5
years.
Residents of the county come to St.
Robert to make use of its air conditioned Community Center, which
offers a stage, fully equipped kitchen, bathrooms and large seating
capacity.
St. Robert is constructing a new
municipal center including city offices, police and fire facilities. The new St.
Robert Interstate Plaza features hotels, restaurants and shops. Be sure to try
our fine restaurants. They offer a broad choice of American and ethnic cuisine.
Nearby Fort Leonard Wood is on 100
square miles of rugged Ozark wilderness. With the addition of the Military |
|
Police and Chemical schools to the
Army Engineer School, Fort Leonard Wood became the Maneuver Support
Center for the Army.
